Is it possible to learn Spanish (or any other language) online?

I would love to learn Spanish. My native language is Polish and my English isn’t that bad.
Do you think it’s possible to learn Spanish online? Just basic sentences and a way to carry on a decent conversation. I will have to take Spanish for 2 years at a university but I would like to jump start the process.
If you tried learning other languages online:
How was your experience? Did you learn a lot? How long did it take you?

perhaps but definately not 100%
and it would be tooooo slowly, so it would take a long time
the right way to do it is also practicing with a spanish native speaker, this way it would be more efficient

if you’re a guy, find a Spanish girl who is willing to learn a language that you are already master of! you’ll be surprised how much improvement you can make. it does not matter whether it’s online or not! a few years ago, i was trying to learn Arabic which i first hated it, Untill the point i found this girl online on: , and we became friends and then so close, everyday we chatted in Skype, it went on for about a whole year. believe it or not! she even came to Sweden to visit me! God! she was an awesome girl! any way, what i mean is that it is totally possible.
