Is spanish hard to learn alongside french?

I learn french at school but im home/online teaching myself spanish at home. im 13 (if that has to do with it) and erm, I dont really like french it confuses me lotsssss and i think spanish is really cool soo.. i wanted to learn it, i know my ‘first nouns’ (i am learning off of sharedtalk, livemocha and my cousin is teaching me some) lol, am i going to get confused?

i myself am also learning french and spanish..i don’t think they’ll confuse you as much as help you, unless you tend to get confused easily. it actually helped me learn more learning both at once because i could draw parallels between the two languages…like, the reason i remembered that “aspirateur” means vaccuum cleaner in french is that i already knew that “aspirador” means the same thing in spanish. but i did sometimes get mixed up. my advice is, try to do them both at once but if you’re overwhelmed then just concentrate on one. good luck! =]
Learn Spanish With
I’m 14, and learning French, Spanish and Italian and I find it makes it easier to be learning them at the same time. They complement each other, and a lot of the rules follow from one to the other. Like, for example, I knew how to use the verb Gustar because I’d learned the Italian equivalent Piacere. I find it’s fairly easy to follow each of them, and I rarely get confused.

No way! french and spanish are so similar! I speak fluent french and english and with those two I can even read and understand some spanish. Those three languages are all pretty similar!
